SOCOTEC to Attend Brownfield Land, Scotland

SOCOTEC, the UK’s leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services, will be attending the Brownfield Land Conference 2018 in Scotland on 7 February.

This year, the conference will focus on regional case studies and actionable solutions to contaminated land and groundwater challenges.

With the aim to bring together local councils, regulatory agencies and consultants, the conference will cover topics such as new planning policy frameworks, new strategies for effective risk assessments and best practice guidance for the testing and verification of hazardous ground gas protection measures.

To support brownfield projects, SOCOTEC provides comprehensive testing services to the environmental industry, specialising in the analysis of soils, waters, leachates, effluents and industrial wastes. With state-of-the-art laboratories, SOCOTEC can provide low level detection for arsenic, mercury and selenium in water, sediment and soil samples.
