The development of HYDRO is a significant advancement in the company’s £1 million investment in IT, and forms a complete water management solution for businesses.
HYDRO is offered to clients as standard, and comprises three applications: Water Treatment, Water Monitoring, and Risk Assessments, each reflecting an ESG service offering. Bringing the three apps together allows a more holistic approach to delivering water management services to clients, driving consistency and efficiency in reporting. HYDRO allows consultants and field technicians to input data onsite, and report back to the ESG laboratories or directly to clients in real-time, providing greater visibility and ensuring a faster turn-around.
Specifically designed for use on mobile phones and tablets, HYDRO enables consultants to record samples taken from site, providing the client with peace of mind by initiating the chain of custody at the earliest possible opportunity.
Norman Sleeth, managing director, Built Environment Services, ESG, commented: “HYDRO enables site records and assessments to be produced faster and with greater accuracy, allowing us to deliver the enhanced reporting and visibility that our clients require.
“Highly responsive and logical, the app triggers recommendations, aiding consultants in the provision of comprehensive and consistent site assessments. Overall, the project has taken 12 months to complete, including consultation with key clients, technical experts, and other internal stakeholders. In addition, HYDRO is fully integrated with ESGi, ESG’s new digital management system.”
ESGi provides a comprehensive and independent solution for corporate compliance. The system takes information from a wide range of sources, including ESG’s portfolio of in-house developed mobile applications, and combines it into one central management system, all presented through the intuitive ESGi dashboard.
