    Project Overview

    Major redevelopment scheme of an existing gyratory to improve traffic flow, accommodate increased capacity and provide new signals which would operate under 'real‑time' urban traffic control.

    Works included:

    • New right-hand turn for access to the A331 southbound and M3 without using main roundabout
    • Increased length of queueing lane for drivers approaching on the A331 from Frimley and the M3
    • New traffic lights and vehicle detectors
    • Improved pedestrian and cyclist crossings
    • Surface water drainage (SuDs) upgrade and accommodation of STATs companies
    • Landscaping and stream clearance
    • Vehicle restraint systems

    Our Services

    Quantity surveying and night-time supervisory services included:

    • Preparing interim measures, valuation and payment certificates
    • Change management and assessment of compensation events, including extensions of time
    • Contractual commercial advice and guidance
    • Management and recording of contractual communications
    • Testing instructions and site supervision
    • Preparing progress reports with photographic records
