Project Overview
Major redevelopment scheme of an existing gyratory to improve traffic flow, accommodate increased capacity and provide new signals which would operate under 'real‑time' urban traffic control.
Works included:
- New right-hand turn for access to the A331 southbound and M3 without using main roundabout
- Increased length of queueing lane for drivers approaching on the A331 from Frimley and the M3
- New traffic lights and vehicle detectors
- Improved pedestrian and cyclist crossings
- Surface water drainage (SuDs) upgrade and accommodation of STATs companies
- Landscaping and stream clearance
- Vehicle restraint systems

- Preparing interim measures, valuation and payment certificates
- Change management and assessment of compensation events, including extensions of time
- Contractual commercial advice and guidance
- Management and recording of contractual communications
- Testing instructions and site supervision
