Fire Marshal Training

• Experience: No prior experience required. Suitable for employees who have been nominated to fulfil of Fire Marshal/Fire Warden in their workplace. 

• Duration: Half day 

• Assessment: Multiple choice test papers    

• Teaching method: In-house classroom training only. 

• Practical Extinguisher training: Should you require practical extinguisher training, this can be provided. However, this will extend duration of the course and additional costs will be incurred. A suitable environment must be made available. 

• To ensure that delegates understand the importance of safe evacuation of everyone on-site in the event of a fire. 

• To understand the key role that fire marshals/fire wardens play in proactively monitoring their workplace to reduce the risk of fires occurring.  

On completion of the course delegates will: 

• Outline the requirements of the Fire Safety Order 2005 
• Identify your role in the event of a fire 
• List the elements of the fire triangle and the common causes of fire 
• Outline the various control measures for fire prevention 
• Understand the importance of safety signage 
• List the types of extinguishers, their uses and disadvantages 
• Conduct a sample workplace fire safety inspection

The Fire Marshal course is classroom-based training, delivered in-house at your venue for up-to 12 delegates per course  

Candidates can expect bespoke, focused teaching that can be tailored to their individual learning needs.  

A suitably qualified and experienced trainer will deliver the course, and all training materials will be provided.
