Aoife Greene, senior engineering geologist within SOCOTEC’s Ground Investigation team, has been shortlisted for ‘Contribution to a Project’ for the Construction News and New Civil Engineer Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards.
The awards represent a unique opportunity for women within the civil engineering and construction sector to gain recognition at a national level and have their achievements celebrated by industry professionals. This particular category recognises women who work on projects, not in a direct engineering or construction capacity, but who still play a crucial part in the overall project delivery.
“Aoife has contributed so much towards our ground investigation projects during her time with the business,” said Clare Chapman, operations director, Infrastructure. “To be shortlisted for these prestigious awards is a fantastic achievement, and I wish Aoife the best of luck”.
The winners of the Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards will be announced on the evening of Thursday 6 October 2022.
