Attending AGS Geotechnical Data Conference
ESG, a SOCOTEC company and the UK’s leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services, is a Gold sponsor for the upcoming AGS Geotechnical Data Conference on 20 September 2017, and will also be exhibiting there on the day.
The full-day conference at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, will focus on the role of geotechnical and geoenvironmental data management, within the wider context of digital engineering and Building Information Modelling (BIM). There will also be an emphasis on recent advances in the use of technology and the development of new processes. Future needs and trends will be identified, including potentially disruptive changes, and examples of best practice in geotechnical and geoenvironmental data management will be shared from all parts of the industry.
As specialists in collecting, collating and reporting ground investigation information, ESG's technical experts from the company will be on stand on the day to offer advice in this area. As well as data management services, ESG also provides a broad range of consultancy, advisory and site based assessment within the geotechnical, geoenvironmental and environmental sectors, both in the UK and overseas.
Philip Ball, group technical director, ESG, comments: “As sponsors, the Geotechnical Data Conference will give ESG the opportunity to showcase our expertise in data handling, including our in-house field data acquisition application developments. With a leading, integrated profile in geotechnics and related disciplines, the event is a great platform to inform others about our capabilities, share our best practice and network with those involved in the field.”
