About Tim Jordan

Tim Jordan is a highly experienced Building Pathologist with a wealth of knowledge on construction materials acquired over 12 years in this very specialist niche of the building and real estate industry.  Tim has worked on over a thousand projects ranging from grade 1 listed mansions and monuments to commercial scale developments and smaller domestic properties of any size.  The experience derived from this has given Tim a deep understanding of what, where, when and why materials decay as well as a crucial knowledge of how these issues can be properly risk managed and addressed. Tim is based near London but works all over the UK, British Overseas Territories and beyond as needed.

Tim studied Building Surveying and Architectural Conservation in Edinburgh before attaining membership of the Chartered Institute of Building and the Society of Façade Engineering over the course of his career.  Tim works with and for owners, occupiers, Architects, Structural Engineers, Loss-Adjusters and Building Guarantors depending upon project requirements

Key subjects of investigation are often related to integrity of timber, plasterwork, brick and stone masonry.
