    About Paul Tilley

    Paul is an Environmental Consultant who has experience working for both clients and contractors on residential, commercial and industrial sites throughout the UK.

    Paul is experienced in leading and developing major Environmental, Contaminated Land and Reclamation projects involving the application of SOCOTEC's specialist capabilities and the wider SOCOTEC range of services. Paul has extensive experience of contaminated land remediation, site investigation, environmental monitoring, on site chemical analysis, risk assessment and waste management. His contribution to projects and the operation of SOCOTEC is expansive, including, technical, resource and commercial / financial management.

    Paul has delivered and overseen major remediation support projects, produced numerous high quality written reports including qualitative and quantitative risk assessments. Management of large datasets in electronic format is an integral part of Paul's experience via delivery of large scale and long term projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park Enabling Works, The Avenue Cokeworks, Lambton Cokeworks, TATA Steel Port Talbot and the Harwell Western Storage area.

    Paul also has laboratory analysis experience within the oil, water and contaminated land consultancy industries and continues to apply this experience to date with the development of SOCOTEC's own on site analysis and mobile laboratory capability.

    Paul has been a Technical and Commercial Director at SOCOTEC UK since 2022. Prior to his current position, Paul was Operations Director for Environmental Consultancy. Paul has previously worked for companies such as Southern Water and Texaco.
