Our experienced team of qualified fire engineering consultants provide prescriptive and performance-based solutions for a variety of problems that present themselves on construction sites.

Construction fire safety strategies contain an assessment of all fire safety aspects for construction sites during the various phases of work.

These include:

Construction fire safety strategies and ongoing support throughout construction stages;
Fire safety of temporary buildings and welfare offices;
Means of warning and escape from buildings under construction;
Preventing the ignition, growth and spread of smoke and fire (including external fire spread, storage arrangements) in the building under construction; and
Fire and rescue service access and facilities for the construction site.

Special considerations for the design apply for high-rise construction sites, classified as buildings exceeding 18 m in height, as well as high-risk construction sites which include the use of structural timber and CLT.
