We proudly hosted our first ever Apprentice Graduation event, commemorating the achievements of apprentices from across the UK.
The event, held at our head office at SOCOTEC House brought together apprentices, mentors, special guests from our trusted apprenticeship providers and industry leaders in a celebration of dedication and accomplishment.
The ceremony commenced with insightful talks from prominent figures within SOCOTEC's leadership. Lisa Massey, SOCOTEC UK's HR Director, Sebastian Botin, Group HR Director, Katy Maynard, Director of Infrastructure, Charlotte Hughes, Marketing Director and Mike Wood, IT Director, delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the significance of apprenticeships in shaping the future of the industry.
Dave Gough, Director of Environment, with over 30 years of service shared his remarkable journey within the company, underscoring the opportunities for growth and development that SOCOTEC offers throughout one's career.
Highlighting the diversity of experiences, several apprentices shared their unique educational journeys and the invaluable experiences gained during their courses. Their talks showcased the diverse paths available within SOCOTEC and the meaningful impact of apprenticeships on personal and professional growth.
The pinnacle of the event was the presentation of awards recognising the exceptional accomplishments of each apprentice. These accolades symbolise the dedication, hard work, and commitment demonstrated by the apprentices throughout their training and development at SOCOTEC.
The Apprentice Graduation event served as a testament to our commitment to nurturing talent and investing in the next generation of industry leaders.
