Fire Engineering team raises vital funds at annual Triathlon

The annual event was held at former London Olympics venue, Dorney Lake, and consisted of a sprint triathlon, made up of a 750m swim, 21.2km bike ride and 5km run, as well as a duathlon, a 2.2km swim and a special fancy-dress prize!

The Fire Engineering team’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and social responsibility is something to be applauded: attending the event for the last three years has encouraged team-building and extended relationships with clients across the property industry.

Led by Fire Engineer Andrea Galeano Enciso, the triathlon team committed to regular training sessions ahead of June’s event, and come race day the team wore special SOCOTEC-branded sportswear.

The triathlon provided invaluable opportunities to connect with several of SOCOTEC’s property sector clients in a relaxed setting, enabling us to strengthen our professional relationships further.

Alongside two teams of triathletes were a group of SOCOTEC colleagues who’d gathered to spectate the action, cheering on our teams as they took on the challenging Dorney Lake course.

Congratulations to all of SOCOTEC’s triathletes, as well as the team of supporters who helped keep spirits high throughout.

All eyes are already on 2026, when the Fire Engineering team will be looking to return to the JLL Property Triathlon for a fourth consecutive year, with its biggest team yet.
