Efficient data input
Clients can send across details of their testing requirements at any time using the booking form, which avoids the need to repetitively input details and enhances the overall efficiency of the form completion process. Data is validated as it is input into the system to ensure accuracy and avoid erroneous submissions, and clients also have the opportunity to send across bespoke schedules and induction forms at the same time.
This information is used at every point of the process, from booking and design to the parameters used during on site testing. By using this data capture process, SOCOTEC’s Foundations Testing team is able to eliminate any incorrect information and has also been commended by UKAS for implementing an innovative quality assurance method.
Live monitoring updates
SOCOTEC successfully introduced fully automated, remotely monitored testing nearly a decade ago thanks to its Live Monitor service, which presents real-time, raw data directly from the clients’ site. Using multiple data plots and providing access to a range of data tables, clients can gain an in-depth understanding of every aspect of their Maintained Load Tests as and when they happen. If any instrumentation is included in the pile, this is automatically added to the monitoring data, and the service is fully flexible to allow clients to alter their loading schedules in the middle of any ongoing tests if required.
For the entire duration of their project, clients can access all of the relative details and files in the File Room. Within each job pack, complete access is provided to quotes, purchase orders, RAMS, Lift Plans and the resulting report, and clients can also keep track of multiple jobs at one time using the geographic search function.
