Our Carbon Management Plan underpins SOCOTEC’s own commitment to reducing our environmental impact by achieving Carbon ‘Net Zero’ by 2050 at the latest.
SOCOTEC UK is committed to achieving the UK Government target of Net Zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 or sooner and is actively reducing emissions across its operations.
Following a re‑baselining to FY2023, SOCOTEC UK has already delivered a 28% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025, driven by fleet decarbonisation and improvements in energy performance.
Looking ahead, SOCOTEC UK has set science‑aligned targets to achieve a 42% by 2030, supported by a structured programme of carbon reduction initiatives and continued investment in low‑carbon service delivery.
