Project Overview

Extensive refurbishment of Grade I and II listed terraces into a boutique hotel comprising 166 bedrooms, a state‑of-the-art gym, garden rooms, elegant lounges, wine tasting rooms and a restaurant. Each of the bedrooms has individual characteristic design features preserving the original charm and character of the buildings.

Our Services

Appointed to assist the contractor's commercial team in valuing works completed following design changes and additional works instructed during construction.

Services included:  

• Measurement of the completed works in accordance with SMM7
• Preparation of the final account, including demolition and alteration works, masonry stonework, prep and decoration, as well as roofing, sanitaryware and windows
• Methodical assessment and valuation of 1,500 variations requiring diligent interpretation of drawings and instructions
• On-site measurement exercise to substantiate the vast quantities of bespoke items and materials
