SOCOTEC UK & Ireland exhibited for a third successive year at the annual Highways UK event.
Held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre between 15th-16th October, Highways UK saw over 10,000 industry professionals in attendance, with 360 exhibitors from around the world and 250 expert speakers on-hand to deliver expert insights at the ten-year anniversary event.
Representatives from SOCOTEC’s Land and Utility Surveying, Monitoring, Structures and Pavements, Geotechnical, Construction and Environmental Science teams were present across the two days, welcoming visitors to the shared stand, as well as networking with clients and fellow professionals from across the sector.
This year’s Highways UK event was particularly impressive, with the theme of ‘roads for a connected future’, and exhibiting for the third year in a row gave us the opportunity to engage with a number of our clients, as well as holding really valuable conversations with those attracted to our stand.
We’re already looking forward to returning to the NEC next Autumn!
Being at the dedicated roads and highways trade show, Highways UK is always a big event for us at SOCOTEC. This year’s show gave us an opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of bringing together our services under our new Monitoring and Surveying division, effectively giving our clients easier access than ever to our leading experts across both disciplines.
Since the creation of our new division earlier this year, we are already seeing a wealth of efficiencies driven as a result, and it was great to see the strong appetite for our new way of working at Highways UK.
