SOCOTEC UK Acquires TOR Drilling
SOCOTEC UK, the leading provider of testing, inspection, and compliance services has enhanced its portfolio with the acquisition of rotary drilling specialists, TOR Drilling.
With a turnover of £140m and over 1,700 employees, the UK is the second most important geographical platform in the SOCOTEC Group after France. TOR Drilling is the fifth acquisition made by SOCOTEC UK since 2017.
Based in Glastonbury, Somerset, TOR has been involved in geotechnical, environmental and site investigation contracts since 1985 and is a specialist in in-situ bioremediation.
