Datum Monitoring Ireland t/a LDG Datum, A SOCOTEC Company, is proud to announce the promotion of Miriam Temino to Senior Project Manager, recognising her exceptional seven-year tenure and commitment to excellence.
The promotion comes as LDG looks to the future amid substantial expected growth, following its acquisition by the SOCOTEC Group in 2025.
Miriam initially joined LDG as a Geomatics Engineer in 2019 and has utilised her technical expertise to help the firm make its mark on the geotechnical services industry.
As Senior Project Manager, Miriam's responsibilities have expanded beyond her previous focus on geospatial software management. She will now oversee project delivery across multiple monitoring parameters, including vibration, noise, dust, strain, tilts and broader instrumentation services.
I'm excited to take on this new challenge and contribute to the growth of LDG, as part of the wider SOCOTEC business. To be able to develop my skills across all aspects of project management, including client engagement to tender preparation, is a great opportunity, and will enable all of us at LDG to provide even greater value to our clients.
To help support Miriam’s change in job role, she is undertaking a bespoke training plan, designed in tandem with senior leadership at the firm.
This includes hands-on training with SOCOTEC UK & Ireland's Monitoring division, focusing on financial management, business operations, estimation processes and advanced project delivery methodologies.
Miriam's promotion exemplifies our plan of recognising and rewarding talent. We have team members with up to 18 years of service, with our focus on retention and professional development being central to our growth strategy.
As LDG assimilates further with SOCOTEC, we're seeing more and more opportunities opening up to our people to progress in their career, while building the capacity needed to expand our services across Ireland and beyond.
Since its integration into SOCOTEC’s Infrastructure division, LDG is actively developing synergies, adapting best practices whilst maintaining its client-focused approach that has built strong relationships across the Irish market.
Over the next 12 months, LDG plans to expand its team and service capabilities, responding to growing interest from clients across SOCOTEC seeking comprehensive monitoring and risk management expertise. The aim is to position LDG as a leading provider of monitoring services across Ireland, backed by SOCOTEC's global resources and technical excellence.
Within this will be the reinforcement of LDG and SOCOTEC’s commitment to career development and employee retention, with further career pathways to be created for more long-term staff to be rewarded - meaning talent is nurtured and excellence is rewarded.
Miriam's promotion signals the beginning of an ambitious journey for LDG, that will see it strengthen its capabilities, expand its team and produce more value for its customers across the UK & Ireland.
