Introducing our new North West Hub

The strategic location will serve as a base for up to 100 staff, housing several of our key business units, including Materials Testing, Geotechnical investigations and Geophysics, Air & Emissions, Environmental consultancy and Building Control.  The brand-new facility has also enabled the creation of a new regional hub for Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Monitoring and Foundation Testing, as well as an ‘Innovations Laboratory’.  

The new Northwest Hub, which follows the high standards set by our existing Midlands facility, SOCOTEC Central, features modern offices, EV charging, meeting rooms and warehousing. Being able to design the facility from the ground up has enabled the company to create new UKAS-accredited laboratories centred on quality and efficiency, to enhance client service, and with a much-improved working environment, the hub will enable greater collaboration and synergies between our diverse teams.

The opening of the Northwest Hub reinforces our leading position in the UK testing, inspection and compliance market. The facility will provide new opportunities for the business, allowing SOCOTEC's teams to leverage their technical expertise and commercial capabilities to deliver enhanced value to clients.
