About Jiayu Hu
Jiayu has six years of experience in the field of Fire and Life Safety. Her expertise includes prescriptive design and performance based design for both existing buildings and new construction projects in accordance with local and national codes and standards.
Jiayu has effectively developed fire safety strategies for a wide array of projects encompassing airports, hospitals, office, educational, retail, restaurants, residential, student accommodation and warehouse facilities.
Professional Experience
WITH THE COMPANY SINCE 2024 | 6 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY
Jiayu Hu started her career as a Graduate Fire Engineer for Mott MacDonald, she quickly progressed to Fire Engineer within the company before taking on the role of Senior Fire Engineer at SOCOTEC.
Jiayu is also a member of the Industrial Advisory Board, and member of Member of Scientific Committee of International Conference on Structures in Fire (SiF).
