About Sam Ng'ambi
Sam is a Geotechnical specialist with more than 25 years’ experience working as an academic and engineer throughout the UK and around the world. Sam’s role at SOCOTEC-UK & Ireland as Principal Geotechnical Engineer includes delivering high standards and quality interpretative reporting for clients’ needs covering assessments and evaluation of design parameters and ground water conditions for a variety of construction projects. Sam is also key member of the TechTeam which reviews all the technical processes of the GI operations gives continued technical and professional support and development of technical staff through specific training and courses.
Professional Experience
WITH THE COMPANY SINCE 2025
Sam has been a Principal Engineer at SOCOTEC UK since Aug. 25 and has worked on several utilities and transport projects including Severn Trent Water Limited, HS2 etc. Prior to his current position, Sam was Associate Professor at Coventry University and geotechnical consultant at PowerCem Technologies Ltd.
