About Rebecca Fryer
Rebecca is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with over 14 years’ experience in geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigation.
Her expertise includes working for both onshore and offshore clients worldwide, producing geological and geotechnical ground models and undertaking geotechnical analysis such as bearing capacity and settlement. Rebecca’s projects to date have included industrial, residential, highways, commercial warehousing, reservoirs, water treatments works and HS2 projects.
Rebecca is also part of the technical team for the GI division, helping with development of internal training, maintaining adherence to relevant standards and reviewing and updating technical procedures.

Rebecca has recently rejoined SOCOTEC UK as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer. Rebecca previously worked for the company as an Engineering Geologist and worked her way up to Senior Engineering Geologist. Rebecca has previously worked for companies such as Fugro GeoConsulting Limited and SoilSafe Limited.
