About Muneeb Kazmi
Muneeb Kazmi is a Fire Engineer with experience working on developing holistic fire strategy designs across all RIBA Stages for residential and non-residential buildings in the United Kingdom. He has worked extensively with Approved Document B, BS 9991, BS 9999 and PAS 9980 to ensure that buildings of all natures, listed, heritage, new-build blocks of flats and large commercial complexes comply with Part B of Schedule 1 to the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended).
Muneeb has a keen interest in risk-based approaches to identifying solutions and actively helps clients find performance-based solutions to problems, thus enabling value engineering. He has been actively involved in Fire Risk Appraisals for External Walls as well on a number of projects, including those requiring remediation.

Muneeb has been in the engineering industry for 9 years, starting as a Laboratory Engineer for NUST Pakistan and working for the likes of Atihad Construction and Design Fire Consultants Ltd before taking on the role of Fire Safety Engineer at SOCOTEC.
