Mick Cahill has worked in the Building Control profession for over 35 years where his expertise has been developed across the whole range of project types. Mick has expertise in complex mixed-use projects where a clear understanding of fire engineering and complex fire strategies is required. He enjoys using his knowledge and experience to bring a pragmatic and precise approach to advising clients on how to comply with the complexities of the building regulations.

Mick has been a Director at SOCOTEC UK since November 2015 and was previously a manager since 2005. Mick has also worked for Luton Borough council as a Trainee/ Building Control Officer/ Surveyor and Principle Building Control Surveyor.
