About James Sneddon
James is a Principal Ecologist who has experience working for both clients and contractors on residential, commercial and infrastructure projects throughout the UK. James is experienced in project management, fee estimation, tender preparation, ecological assessment, biodiversity net gain (BNG) delivery and technical reporting, as well as providing ecological advice throughout the planning and construction process. James’s projects to date have included residential developments, permitted development schemes and major civil infrastructure projects for utility, education, defence and transportation clients.

James has been an Ecologist and Environmental Scientist at SOCOTEC UK since 2008. Prior to his current position as Principal Ecologist, James held a number of technical and management roles within the environmental team, progressing through Senior and Project Manager positions.
