About Darren Green
Darren has worked with SOCOTEC for over fifteen years in various technical and management roles. He is currently responsible for the water hygiene remedials business within SOCOTEC at a national level and oversees the daily operations of 9 plumbers, undertaking Legionella remedial work.
Darren commenced his employment with SOCOTEC as a Water Hygiene Technician and has an extensive working knowledge of the planning and operational requirements in relation to Legionella legislation and related works, particularly the service delivery of inspection and remedial works to water systems.
Darren is experienced in the delivery of a wide range of inspection works including inspection of Calorifers, Cold Water Storage Tanks, TMV inspection & servicing and also remedials such as full water system disinfections, water tank clean & disinfections, dead-leg removals, TMV replacements and tank replacements.
These services have been effectively delivered across multiple sectors including rail, military, education, local authority and manufacturing in accordance with SOCOTEC’s quality standards and client specifications.

Darren has been a Business Manager at SOCOTEC UK since 2025. Prior to undertaking this role Darren was an operations Manager servicing primarily the MoD contracts.
