Concrete Testing

With fully equipped field concrete testing specialised teams covering the UK, SOCOTEC is able to provide a comprehensive testing service to prove the quality of fresh and hardened concrete. This encompasses UKAS accredited* on-site manufacture of cubes, workability and air content testing and laboratory tests to determine compressive strength, density and cement content.

Soil Testing

With the increased emphasis on recycling, reducing waste going to landfill and reducing energy costs the use of stabilised materials in construction projects becomes more and more important. Using stabilised soils can also help to reduce the consumption of raw materials and the energy costs of transport. SOCOTEC is highly experienced in providing accredited testing required by Highways England documents.


Aggregate Testing

Aggregate testing plays an important role in assessing new material sources, in situ behaviour, compliance and quality control. All aggregate testing is undertaken by SOCOTEC's experienced technical staff operating from our well equipped accredited laboratories.


Bituminous Testing

Covering a wide range of road and pavement base materials, our bituminous testing services are widely used for checking the quality of products and their placement as well as investigating specific problem areas.
