Asbestos Re-Inspection Surveys Receives UKAS Accreditation
ESG, the UK’s leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services, is pleased to announce that it has achieved UKAS accreditation for asbestos re-inspection surveys, completing its full offering of UKAS accredited asbestos services under schedule no. 0148.
UKAS has recently recognised the importance of accredited surveying organisations undertaking asbestos re-inspection surveys, allowing building duty holders to manage asbestos risk and comply with regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. ESG voluntarily completed a self-declaration process in order to ensure compliance with the UKAS accreditation requirements.

We can also be confident that our clients are able to manage the risks from asbestos appropriately. In combination with our other UKAS accredited asbestos services, we can now offer our clients the full package.”
The UKAS accreditation was formally received on 1 August and applies to all of ESG’s surveying sites, nationwide.
